Carlton Scroop  and Normanton Wind Turbines Planning Application
Ground level view looking north-east from near the Lodge Farm turbine site, towards Caythorpe Court, Normanton village and church
Two planning applications have been lodged with South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) for wind turbines between Carlton Scroop and Hough on the Hill:

S11/1922 - Lodge Farm  (see also S11/1468)
S11/1828 - Howdale Farm

Although both plans are in the same area, only the first (Lodge Farm) is currently under consideration.  A village meeting was held at Carlton Scroop on 10 Oct 2011, with representatives from Hough on the Hill and other local villages, at which it was decided to form a committee to coordinate objections.  The parish councils were only recently informed of the plan and had a limited time in which to formally respond to SKDC.
Map of affected area (turbines will be just south of the 74m spot-height on the Hough-Carlton  Scroop road).
