Other Local Services
SKDC bin collections are generally operating as normal, but residents are asked to wash their hands before putting bins out, then wipe down the handle and wash hands again. The priority is the collection of black bins but side waste (items/bags left beside black bins) will not be collected. Personal waste such as used tissues and disposable cloths should be bagged and put aside for 72 hours before being put in black bins. Recycling centres are open but have to be booked, via the website, or by phoning 01522 782070.
The CallConnect on-demand bookable bus service will continue to operate for essential passenger journeys.
LIVES (Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service) first responders usually arrive before an ambulance. LIVES needs to buy personnel protection equipment so they can continue to respond to medical emergencies. Donate here.
Churches remain closed. Prayers can be downloaded from the South Cliff Villages Group website.
