Anyone disturbed by the noise from kart racing or clay pigeon shooting should complete a noise diary sheet to prove to the planning authorities how disturbing it can be.  Please try to make a distinction between game shoots (which are usually lots of gunshots over a short time) and clay pigeon shooting (steady shooting, usually 2 at a time, which can go on for hours).
